More than 12 miles of the Sweetwater River run through the heart of the Split Rock Ranch, located in Central Wyoming.  This private waterway offers anglers many different opportunities to experience some of the finest Rainbow and Brown Trout walk-and-wade fly fishing the west has to offer.  Our clients have enjoyed catching six to seven pound trout ranging from 21 inches to over 30.  Fishing on the Sweetwater River is a unique experience, particularly because we feature a wild trout fishery; there have never been fish released into these waters.  Enjoy casting for wild trout while basking in some of the most scenic western landscapes known to mankind; when you've fished your fill take a trip back in time by taking a walk down the paths of the Mormon, Oregon, California and Pony Express trails and observe our plentiful wildlife - all of whom call this Serengeti their home!
